Jesus prayed to the Father that all who believe in Him might be one
(John 17:20-21). Paul declared that there is but "one body" (1
Corinthians 12:12-13), and rebuked all who wore party names. "Is
Christ divided? (1 Corinthians 1:13). "For where there are envy,
strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like
mere men?" (I Corinthians 3:3)
